Volunteer Walk Leader Training

A provisional date for the next Volunteer Health Walk Leader Training has just gone in the diary.  Providing there are enough people booked on the course it will take place on Tues 26th Sept 2017 at the Castle Hill centre, Bolton.

This 1 day, free, accredited training is available for those wishing to take on the role of a volunteer walk leader to lead walks in the Bolton area.  Each individual will be fully supported by Bolton’s Walk this Way Project Co-ordinator.

Once trained, volunteers can take on many roles including route planning, publicity and promotion and leading or assisting with short walks in the local community.  Not only will you be benefiting others by supporting them to begin walking, but you’ll also be keeping yourself active.
