Finding time to be active can sometimes be quite challenging especially if you lead a busy lifestyle. So building exercise into your daily routine through everyday activities is an excellent way to help you stay active.

 

 


You could shop til you drop, mop floors, wash the car by hand, hoover, get off the bus a stop earlier and walk, paint and decorate, mow the lawn, take the stairs instead of the lift, clean windows, park the car further away from the supermarket, walk or cycle to school or work. You might even be someone who has a manual job e.g. builder, fire fighter, cleaner, tree surgeon. Doing any of these will help you get on your way to being active every day.
